In our efforts to make this year better for those who are struggling to make ends meet we are asking for help with some items that are high on the Fall/Winter need list at the Jonnycake Center. Your overwhelming support in the past has helped out so many and we truly can’t thank you enough for all your donations.
For all members of the Local, at the Union meeting on November 9th, if you bring in a donation from the needs list, you will receive an extra ticket in the Turkey and Gift Card Raffle that is traditionally held for us each year.
Donations will also be gratefully accepted from any and all other Council 94 members who wish to donate. Please deliver anything you wish to donate to RI Council 94, 1179 Charles Street, North Providence by the afternoon of November 8 so I can arrange a pickup.
Here are a few of the items that they are in serious need of:
• Healthy Cereal and Snacks
• Strawberry Jam/Jelly
• Solid white tuna
• Pasta Sauce
• Gravy
• Quick Bread Mixes
Also, if any Local 528 members would like to help us out with the Holiday Gift Basket Raffle by putting a gift basket together, or, if you have items to donate to assist us in putting together some baskets, please speak with a Charity Committee Member at the November meeting.
