Brothers & Sisters,
At our March meeting, Local 528 asked for donations from the members that were in attendance. I am pleased to say that we were able to raise $158.00 that day for The Ronald McDonald House of Providence. Based on the Wish List posted on the Ronald McDonald House website, we were able to purchase 8 sets of full-sized sheets for the rooms of families that stay at the house to be close to their children while they are hospitalized or receiving treatments.
Pictured below is Local 528 member Robert Pennoyer who presented the sheet sets to the Ronald McDonald House with his daughter. Robert and his wife know first hand of the great generosity of the Ronald McDonald House having spend many weeks there to be close their daughter at Hasbro Children's hospital.
